Do you have a physical shop?
No, we do not. However, our operations office is also used as the “Saamaanu Collection Point” for customers who wish to self-collect their orders. Since we keep a few selected products in stock, the collection point also acts as a mini showroom. You are welcome to drop by and have a peak at what we have in stock.
How long does delivery take?
Most of our products are pre-order products, i.e. we ship to Male’ when we receive the orders. Expected delivery duration varies by product. You can see details for each product on the product page.
Generally, delivery duration are as follows:
In-stock: 1 - 2 days
Small items: 10 to 15 working days
Big items: 4 to 6 weeks
Above estimates are based on delivery within Male’. Additional time is expected for delivery outside Male’.
Can I opt for self-collection instead of delivery?
Yes. For items already in Male’, you can collect at the Saamaanu Collection Point.
Do you provide free delivery?
We provide free delivery within Male’ for all order above Mvr 150/-. For orders of Mvr 150/- and below, a flat rate of Mvr 10/- apply.
For all orders, including orders of 150/- and below, customers can opt to self-collect at our Saamaanu Collection Point. There will be no extra charge for self-collection.
Do you have an option for Express Delivery (faster than the normal specified delivery period)?
Yes. At the moment we have not implemented the option to select Express Delivery at check-out, but you can contact us via phone or mail and we can help arrange faster delivery. Express Delivery charges will apply.
Is the price shown on the website the final price? Will there be any additional costs?
Unless specified otherwise, the total price shown at check-out will be the final price.
However, please note that at the moment delivery charges shown on our website are only based on delivery within Male’. For delivery outside Male’, you can contact us to find out more on possible additional costs.
Do you deliver to destinations other than Male’?
You can contact us via phone or mail to arrange delivery outside Male’ (delivery charges apply).
What if your items were damaged on delivery?
Customers are advised to check item for damage at delivery/collection. If the item is found to be damaged, we will do a 1-on-1 replacement (based on stock availability) or give you a full refund.
Other damage claims will be attended on a case-by-case basis and the above replacement/re-fund applies for legitimate claims.
Saamaanu Warranty Assis Plan (SWAP)
For items covered under SWAP, Saamaanu will provide the service of transporting the item from the customer to the servicing agency, and returning to the customer once servicing is complete for free as long as the item satisfies both SWAP and manufacturer warranty terms and conditions.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the damages are covered by insurance (e.g. warranty claims for water damage, physical damage to the outside, or items that have been tampered with are not entertained by most service providers).
Any additional costs incurred for fixing shall be billed to the customer. Further, if the service provider denies fixing due to violation of insurance terms (e.g. custom modifications to the product, water damage etc.), the customer will have to bare all costs.
Can I change an order I have already placed?
You can change the order unless the items has already been shipped and is on the way. You can call us or email us with your request.
